This Notice has been prepared to inform you about the processing of your personal data by Sırasan Orman Ürünleri İml. İnş. Tic. Ltd. Şti. (“Sırasan” or the “Company”) as data controller, in accordance with the Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”), through the sirasan.com website and communication channels.

2. Personal Data We Process

Where you contact us, request a quote or subscribe to our newsletter, the following personal data may be processed:

Identity data: name, surname, name of the institution you represent.
Contact data: e-mail address, phone number.
Request/message content: your message and quote-request details (product, quantity, venue, etc.).
Transaction security data: IP address and browser information where technically required.

3. Purposes of Processing

Receiving, evaluating and concluding your requests and applications,
Preparing and delivering quotes for our products and services,
Communicating with you and responding to your requests,
Sending newsletters and announcements where you have given explicit consent,
Fulfilling our legal obligations and conducting legal processes.

4. Legal Grounds for Processing

Your personal data is processed under Article 5 of the KVKK; where it is directly related to the conclusion or performance of a contract, where necessary for the Company to fulfil its legal obligations, on the basis of the legitimate interests of the data controller provided that it does not harm your fundamental rights, and, where required, based on your explicit consent.

5. Transfer of Personal Data

Your personal data may be transferred, only to the extent necessary to achieve the above purposes and in accordance with Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK, to our suppliers providing website hosting and e-mail services, to authorised public institutions and to legally authorised private persons. Your data is not transferred abroad without your explicit consent.

6. Method of Collection

Your personal data is collected through electronic channels such as the contact, quote and newsletter forms on our website, e-mail and telephone, by automated and partially automated means.

7. Retention Period

Your personal data is retained for the period required by the purpose of processing and, in any case, subject to the statutory limitation/retention periods; once the purpose ceases to exist, it is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.

8. Your Rights as a Data Subject

Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the right to:

learn whether your personal data is processed,
request information if it has been processed,
learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly,
know the third parties to whom it is transferred at home or abroad,
request correction if it is incomplete or inaccurate,
request its deletion/destruction under the conditions set out in the KVKK,
request that correction/deletion be notified to third parties to whom the data was transferred,
object to a result against you arising solely from automated analysis,
claim compensation for damage arising from unlawful processing.

9. How to Apply

You may submit your requests regarding the above rights, together with information verifying your identity, to info@sirasan.com or in writing to the address stated above. Your application will be concluded free of charge within 30 days at the latest pursuant to Article 13 of the KVKK; a fee from the Board’s tariff may apply if the process requires an additional cost.

10. Changes

Sırasan reserves the right to amend this Notice in line with legislative changes and updates to its business processes. The current version is always published on this page.
