A classroom furnished with Sırasan educational furniture

About Us

For over 20 years we have manufactured educational furniture from Ankara to all of Türkiye.

Sırasan designs and manufactures functional, ergonomic and durable educational furniture for schools, universities, training centres and institutions. From classrooms to lecture halls, from kindergartens to laboratories, we develop solutions tailored to the needs of every learning space.

At our integrated facility in Ankara we carry out metalworking, woodworking, painting and assembly ourselves. This end-to-end continuity, from raw material to assembly, lets us safeguard quality single-handedly — from the first step to the final check.

With an approach built on customer satisfaction, we have delivered thousands of projects in schools, institutions and campuses across Türkiye. With our sustainable production mindset, we shape the learning environments of the future today.

Our Production Strength

From raw material to assembly, we run every production stage ourselves at our integrated facility in Ankara. This continuity means shorter lead times, consistent quality and project-specific flexibility.

Metalworking

Frames and leg structures are produced to precise tolerances at our laser/CNC cutting, bending and welding stations.

Woodworking

MDF, laminated chipboard and solid surfaces are prepared smoothly, durably and safely on our CNC machining and edge-banding lines.

Painting & Coating

Metal parts pass through our electrostatic powder coating and oven line, yielding long-lasting surfaces resistant to scratching and corrosion.

Assembly & Inspection

Components are joined on the assembly line; every product passes individual quality control before shipment and is delivered ready for use.

Our Values

Behind every piece of furniture we make lie four core principles that have not changed over the years. They guide all our decisions, from the design desk to the production line to delivery.

Student-focused design

We put the health, comfort and safety of the students who will use our products first, developing ergonomics suited to every age group.

Reliability

We honour our promises, delivery dates and quality in full — which is why institutions keep working with us for years.

Innovative design

We follow changing educational needs and develop new products that bring together function, durability and aesthetics.

Solution partnership

We listen to each institution’s needs and offer practical, project-specific solutions based on dimensions, quantity and budget.

Our Quality & Certificates

Our products are manufactured in line with national and international standards; every item goes through staged quality control from raw material to shipment. This is how we fully meet the safety and durability expectations of educational environments.

What changes when you buy from the manufacturer?

A significant share of sellers in the school furniture market are suppliers rather than manufacturers. From the buyer's point of view the difference shows up less in price than in what becomes possible.

SubjectBuying from the manufacturerBuying through an intermediary
Dimensions and configurationAdapted to the specification and the roomLimited to what the catalogue offers
ColourChosen from the RAL chartWhatever colour is in stock
Phased purchasingThe same configuration can be produced again next yearThe product may have changed or been discontinued
Spare partsThe part can be manufactured againDependent on the supply chain
Technical questionsYou speak to the people who make itAs much as the intermediary knows
These differences are felt not at the moment of ordering but years later — particularly when spare parts and phased renewal are needed.

Sırasan works as a manufacturer: the products are our own, dimensions and configuration are set per project and colour is chosen from the RAL chart. That asks more questions of you than ordering from a catalogue — but the result is furniture that fits your school, rather than a school arranged to fit the furniture.

How a project runs with us

Knowing the process in advance makes both your timetable and your budget approvals easier. We work in six steps.

StepWhat happensWhat we need from you
1. First conversationThe scope of the need and the timetable become clearList of rooms, approximate pupil numbers, target date
2. SurveyMeasurements are taken and site conditions read — free of chargeAccess to the rooms, or measurements and photographs
3. Layout proposalHow many units go where is worked outHow the space is used and your preferences
4. QuotationItemised pricing, with delivery as a separate lineApproval or a request for revision
5. ProductionThe configuration is fixed and entered into the production planConfirmation of colour and height grade
6. Dispatch and installationDelivery, positioning and handoverDelivery window and building access details
Delays occur most often not at step 6 but at step 2: when the survey slips, the whole timetable moves. If you have a target date, plan the survey as early as you can.

Which institutions do we work with?

Although our product groups are built around educational spaces, their use is not limited to education. In practice we work with four types of institution, each with different priorities.

Schools — state and private schools and colleges. The priorities are durability and cost per pupil; decisions usually follow the school term and the budget year.

Universities — lecture theatres, seminar rooms, laboratories and libraries. The priority is project design; product choice follows the conditions of the room and the process usually runs through a tender.

Training centres and study halls — high turnover and frequent changes of layout. The priorities are flexibility and quick cleaning.

Public institutions and municipalities — public education centres, cultural centres and administrative buildings. The priorities are conformity with the specification and documentation.

Beyond these four we also manufacture for any institution needing dining hall, canteen or office furniture. Describe your space and we will identify the product group together.

What to expect when working with us

It is worth being plain: project-based manufacture starts more slowly than buying from a catalogue. Nothing enters the production plan before decisions on dimensions, configuration and colour are settled. In return, what you get is furniture that genuinely fits the space.

The second expectation is sharing information. The more you tell us, the more accurate the quotation: room dimensions, pupil numbers, how the space is used, building access conditions and the target date. Quotations prepared while this information is missing are usually revised, and the process takes longer.

The third is that we say so when something is not needed. If your existing furniture will serve a while longer, if replacing only the chairs is enough, or if the problem is the layout rather than the product, we say it plainly. That is how long-term working relationships are built.

You can review our application areas space by space, browse the product catalogue, or request a quotation directly.
