The student chair is the most overlooked product in school furniture and the one that most affects ergonomics. Even when the desk is at the right height step, the wrong chair ruins the student's posture. Sırasan produces three chairs, each designed around a different space: the classroom, the canteen and the study or meeting room.

Which chair for which space?
In the classroom the priorities are stackability and ease of cleaning. Moulded plastic (Dolse) is a single piece with no joints — no screws to loosen, no panels to separate. It is the lowest-maintenance option.
In the canteen moisture is decisive. Upholstered chairs are unsuitable there because of food staining and moisture. Werzalit panel or moulded plastic chairs wipe clean and do not stain. They can be planned together with our canteen tables.
In study rooms and libraries sitting times are long and comfort comes to the fore. The upholstered Form model supports the back during long sittings. Our school library page covers this space as a whole.

How to set the right height
Chair height must be considered together with the desk top height. A simple check: when the student sits, feet must rest flat on the floor, the knee angle should be roughly right-angled and elbows should sit level with the top. If any of the three fails, either the desk or the chair is at the wrong step.
Ordering desks and chairs separately is a common mistake; the steps must be set together. The step tables on our single and double desk pages make that matching easier.
Three details that determine chair life
The student chair is the most frequently moved item of furniture in a school: pulled, pushed, stacked and occasionally tipped over every day. What determines its life is often not the seat material but these three details.

Stackability, quantity planning and colour
In multi-purpose halls, conference areas and ceremony spaces the chairs need to be cleared away. Moulded plastic chairs stack and take little space, a decisive advantage in schools using the same hall for different events. We recommend limiting the number stacked — high stacks risk tipping and can mark the seat surfaces underneath.
Equating chair quantity with student numbers is an incomplete calculation. Chairs break more often and are moved more often than desks, and multi-purpose hall use may require extra units. The practical approach is to add some spares per school to the total; ordering chairs one at a time later raises both unit and shipping cost, and colour and model consistency is preserved — matching the same colour tone years later is not always possible.

Can we choose chair colours to match our school?
Yes. The Dolse model is produced in seven colours; on steel-framed models the frame colour is selected from the RAL chart and can be matched to your corporate colour. Colour can also be used functionally: coding by floor, grade level or department reduces chairs being carried into the wrong room.
What maintenance do the chairs need?
On moulded plastic there is almost none; regular wiping is enough. On Werzalit panel models we recommend an annual screw check — loosened joints tightened early prevent wear on the panel and frame. Upholstered models require upholstery care and stain treatment.
How do delivery and pricing work?
Chairs are produced at project scale; quantity, model and colour are set per order. Project surveys are free. Shipping is priced according to order volume and delivery province and is added to the quotation separately; it is not included in the price. Desks and chairs can be planned in a single quotation.
